The Curve

We met Nicholas Lovell twelve months ago to find out about his insights into the free to play games movement and how we could alter our way of thinking (the majority being traditional console developers) and get into the minds and user experiences of the f2p gamer.

Nicholas has since written his second book, ‘The Curve’ which he launched last month and many of us are now reading and digesting, things have moved along further and further since our original meeting, phrases and philosophies have become wide spread and the market we now serve are becoming more of a known quantity and more importantly, the methods we use to serve them are becoming clear.

 

Nicholas has worked with us to develop f2p games during the past 12 months, offering his unique perspective on our design decisions and game economy.
